Latest version of ‘Posts in Page’ plugin not working

    We have updated WordPress from 4.7.10 to 4.9.6 but faced issues when updated the plugin “posts in page” in wordpress. The post images,read more button and other html tags were not shown on the hompepage after the plugin was updated (from v1.2.4 to v1.3.1 ) and before that it was working fine.

    Can you please assist how to resolve that issue?

    Hello @aditya13jain,

    We have tested the plugin with the latest version of WordPress and know that it works.

    If you lost formatting or any look and feel stuff upon upgrading WordPress or the Posts in Page plugin, it’s highly likely that you had some customized files in the old version of the plugin. Any customizations done to the output template must be placed inside the Theme folder, per the documentation, otherwise, you can lose these changes when the plugin is updated.

    My recommendation is to download a backup of your site from before the upgrade and open up the plugin folder and see if there have been customizations to the posts_loop_template.php file. I’m guessing that there were customizations that were overwritten with your plugin update.
