Hi – just installed latest version of JetPack via WP Admin plugin updates.

The site loads, but when I try to access my WP Admin UI, the following error is shown:

“Warning: require_once(/home/<myuserdirredacted>/thismustbetheplace.io/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/_inc/lib/class.media.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/<myuserdirredacted>/thismustbetheplace.io/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php on line 25

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/<myuserdirredacted>/thismustbetheplace.io/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/_inc/lib/class.media.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/php5/lib/pear’) in /home/<myuserdirredacted>/thismustbetheplace.io/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php on line 25”

Anyone else having issues after installing the latest version? Any suggested fixes?

    Thanks.

Had to FTP in, delete the JetPack directory, and reinstall. Works now.

HI Can I be clear. Installation caused an Error 500. I had the same problem did you have to download the new version of Jetpack as a directory and re-install or did you just delete the Jetpack directory and then install the plugin?

Hi – I installed via the plugin search within the WordPress admin area. I did not FTP the new directory up.

    Thank you for the clarification.
