• I use Custom Contact Forms, and after submitting a form, the page breaks and this error message appears at the top of the page:

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /home/gorilla/public_html/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/lib/W3/Request.php on line 106

I have deactivated the plugin for the moment. Should I leave it deactivated until the next update is released?

  • Are you using CDN? If so you could try locating the captcha files and including them in the rejected file list for the CDN- might look something like this:

    wp-content/uploads/plugin name_captcha/*

The asterisk at the end will enable rejecting all captcha files from the CDN. Worth a try….

hi – thanks for this, but i am not sure about CDN or how to make the changes you propose…. forgive me! (or help me!!!)

@tobes- CDN=content delivery network, which delivers cached website components for faster page loading. W3TC is designed to work with a CDN, if one is used, or use the “self-hosted” CDN (which I use)that delivers cached data from a subdomain or subdirectory on your site. It sounds like you do not have a CDN enabled, but if you do, some plugin files don’t work properly when delivered from a CDN.

looking at the earlier posts in this thread, you are not the only one experiencing compatibility issues with W3TC and Custom Contact Forms. If it were me, I’d switch to a different form plugin, like Contact Form 7 or Gravity Forms, both of which I’ve used with W3TC with no problems- but you’ll still need to include your form pages in the “Never cache the following pages” lists.

Can anyone with this issue submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin for testing please?
