Latest WordPress update blocking SVG upload

  • I’ve used SVG Support for several years now with few issues and I used a large number of SVG images on my site. They still display properly. However, when I attempt to upload a new image, I get the standard WordPress error message that I am not allowed to upload images of this file type. I am not sure what has changed. I suddenly see the behavior on both my staging and production sites. Any clue as to where to look for the issue?

    Traced the issue to a recent upgrade from the OceanWP theme. It switched SVG uploads to off. In the integrations panel, I switched SVG uploads to “On” and they resumed working.

    Hey @mmcgowan1 how did you navigate to that option? I’m having the same issue with OceanWP theme. Can’t get SVGs to upload.
