    Hi There,

Is there a way to add HTML tags and LaTeX code in the answer choices?
I’m not able to get fractions and numbers with squares, cubes etc correctly in the quiz answer choices.
It’s really important for any Maths quizzes; I hope you have a solution for me please.

    Dear @samambh,

    Thank you for your topic.

To add?HTML tags?and?LaTeX code?in the answer choices, you need to activate the?Use HTML for answers?option (Quizzes> Questions> particular question > General?tab). You may probably need? and ?tags.

    See the screenshot below:

    Thank you.

How can I enable HTML for all questions instead of doing it separately for each? Does enabling HTML also enable Latex code?

    Dear @samambh,

    Thank you for your response.

As far as I understand you correctly, you want to import mathematic formulas, for which you need MathJax.

I want to mention, that the Quiz Maker plugin is fully compatible with math equation plugins such as the MathJax-LaTeX.
So, you can easily use the Quiz Maker + Mathjax Latex plugins together.

Please check out the following demo which I assume can be of great help to you in understanding how this actually works:

I am able to use the MathJax/Latex code in my question (similar to the quiz https://quiz-plugin.com/math-quiz/) but I cannot use it in the answer options. I have enabled HTML and also tried to enable/disable strip slashes for question. How can I get fractions added to the answer options?

    The code I’m using in the answer is: \[ \frac{3}{11} \quad \frac{5}{12} \quad \frac{7}{10} \quad \frac{9}{14} \quad \frac{11}{13} \]

It’s quite urgent for me to get this resolved. Is there a work around to achieve this please? I need exactly the same result as you have in your demo quiz https://quiz-plugin.com/math-quiz/

I will really appreciate some advise here please.

    Dear @samambh,

    Thank you for your response.

I am sorry for any inconvenience and misunderstanding this may cause you, but our Dev Team investigated the case again and noticed that there is no problem in this regard in the plugin. So, there is nothing that needs to be fixed with the general update.

We strongly believe, there is an incorrect set up of the settings, due to which, the following case occurred.

    1. Please activate the Disable strip slashes for answers option from the corresponding question.
      See the screenshot below:

    2. Then insert the line and save it:
    \[ \frac{3}{11} \quad \frac{5}{12} \quad \frac{7}{10} \quad \frac{9}{14} \quad \frac{11}{13} \]

Most presumably you activate the option when the answer is already constructed, that’s why it doesn’t work for you.

We checked the case on our end again and noticed that there is no problem.
You just need to perform the steps in the correct order so that the feature can work normally for you.

    See the screenshot below:

Please check this and let us know about the outcome.

    Thank you.

Sorry, I’m really confused now. In your screenshot, the setting is “Disable strip slashes for answers”. However, the setting in mine is “Enable strip slashes for answers”.

Why is this different? I believe I have the latest version of the plugin as it gets auto updated.

I have tried enabling and disabling this setting before and after adding answers but the slashes get stripped and I do not see the fractions or equations correctly.

Also, I need this to be working for my imports as I will not be able to go to each question and change the configuration. Please help.

Would it be possible to speak to your engineering team to avoid any confusion?

    Many Thanks,

    Sameer
