    Hi @kampot888,

Yes, however this will be more complicated than with European languages or Arabic. Unfortunately, I do not have any ready snippets for Japanese, Korean, or Chinese. If I did, I would of course share them.

The snippets I posted on the page you linked are only basic examples and all I wanted was to to show how the developers can programatically overwrite the custom permalinks.

    After registering this snippet

So, as a solution, set the site language to Japanese.

    Permalink Manager > Permastructures

    post type : post
    Japanese siteurl/%post_id%
→Avoid character problems by using ID

    English siteurl/%postname%
→Leave the English title as is for SEO purposes

    Greek siteurl/%postname%
→Automatically replaced with English by snippet

Is this kind of setting OK?
    I tested the Japanese title

    result is
    siteurl/ja/100008556/てすと

    100008556 is the post ID
For some reason, there is Japanese てすと at the end. What is the cause of this?

    Hi @kampot888,

Please make sure that “Do not automatically append the slug” option is selected.

The Japanese permalink is now only the ID.

Next, when you automatically create an English page with polylang, the English page will also become an ID, although it is set to postname in parmalinkmanager.

    /ja/100008569
    /en/100008575/

What I want to do is

    /ja/100008569
    /en/postname

    Hi @kampot888,

Please make sure that the first input setting field is changed to %postname%:

    %postname%

My main language is Japanese, so for SEO reasons, I have no choice but to select an ID. .

Regarding the future, it would be useful if OpenAI could be configured with the parmarink manager plugin, and languages ??that have SEO problems, such as Japanese, Chinese, and Korean, could be rewritten using OpenAI.

    https://permalinkmanager.pro/docs/filters-hooks/how-to-filter-the-default-custom-permalinks/#6-how-to-transliterate-wordpress-permalinks

If this SLug conversion problem could be rewritten using Openai, wouldn’t it be possible to solve the problem for non-compatible languages?

Ok, I see, it is a UI bug. As of now the setting field for “English” is empty, so it uses the default setting %post_id% which is set for main language: Japanese, although the input placeholder displays there %postname%. Please make sure that the English field is not empty here and paste there %postname%:

As regards OpenAI integration, I will implement this in the future if more users would request such feature.

Thank you for your quick support!

Currently being tested. We will report the results again!
