Launch Required to Generate Static Site?

    Hi. I have a one-page website that isn’t launched yet. I generated the static files using Simply Static, and the default WordPress Coming Soon page is the only thing that appears when I try to open the site after unzipping the files. Do sites have to be launched for Simply Static to generate as it appears when I edit? Thank you.

    Hey @nskdah,

    it’s true, your website needs to be publicly available (or protected via Basic Auth) to be converted with Simply Static.

    Simply Static visits your website the same way a non-logged-in user would do.
