launching lightbox from album or thumbnail galleries?

    Years ago, I had my page set up to show multiple galleries on one page, using one thumbnail for each gallery, then clicking on the thumbnail would open that gallery in a lightbox.

    I have updated Nextgen gallery, and I have read the documentation for the new version but cannot recreate what I need.

    I have tried making an album, but cannot get each album to directly open in lighbox.

    I have also tried galleries on the page, but either it only displays one image period, or every gallery image.

    Can you tell me how to achieve this? Thank you so much!

    @mmeisami – Try using variations of this shortcode:

    [ngg_images gallery_ids=1 display_type=photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails disable_pagination=1 images_per_page=1 show_all_in_lightbox=1]

    Just change the gallery_ids parameter as needed.
