I’m on the latest WP (4.5) and the latest woocommerce (2.5.5) plugins and I’m using the layered nav widget on my shop’s sidebar.

However, the counts of my product attributes are incorrect. If you take a look at my shop page:
    https://www.perpetualracingonline.com/shop/

If you look at “full body kit” it says there’s 1, but if you click it, there are actually 5 products in that attribution. If I go to the “products” section and actually look at the attributes and its terms, the count is correct there.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do not bump posts. Bumping a post to “the top” does not help your topic get noticed. The volunteers who try to answer questions look for those without replies first. If you bump a post, then it disappears from the ‘No Replies’ view.

apologies Mike. I will remember never bump posts. It’s a bad habit that I’ve picked up browsing other forums.

I have actually tried recounting, but it did not help.

I installed a 3rd party filtering widget and it counts correctly.

I compared the two widgets side by side, and the woocommerce one doesn’t give the correct count, while the 3rd party one does.

Not sure if I’m the only one with this issue.

Thank you for your suggestion none-the-less

There is also the option to clear all transients which can help.

We’ve rewritten the counts in 2.6 so it should clear up with the new version anyway.

    Hi Mike (and chocobo15) –

I’ve tried both recounting and clearing the transients in the tools menu multiple times but the counts never change. Is there a query we can run on the database to fix this issue manually?

I’ve also noticed that when clicking on the attribute to show those products with the specific attribute, not all of them are shown. For instance if I choose the attribute “Red Wine” from the widget and it shows a count of only 1, only 1 bottle is returned. However if I look at the attributes in the admin interface, it shows 2 (the correct number) and the correct bottles.

I am glad to hear that this is fixed in 2.6 however we have a functioning webshop right now. For now I’ve just hidden the counts since they are totally wrong however the widget looks a bit odd because the text area is quite large for such a small amount of text. Plus, of course, it doesn’t actually work because all the products are not returned.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks!

2.6 is due out in a few weeks. I don’t have a fix/patch to give you in the meantime -it’s too complex an issue

    Hi Mike –

Thanks for the quick response! I’ll look for a work-around in the mean time and wait for 2.6.

    Regards,
    Jeff
