Layered Nav Filter – How Is This Possible????

Im using the latest WooCommerce 2.1.9.
I have an attribute “Material”
It has 5 options, “Metal” “Cotton” “Leather” etc etc
Products are using these options
But the layered nav widget (that filters products) only recognizes Metal and Cotton.
How can this happen??
