layered nav not functioning

Good day

I’ve recently updated my woocommerce to the latest version all base functionality seems to be working well now after some assistance from theme support, but after the update the layer nav is not not functioning, i tried it n its setup but once you choose one it simply refreshes the page to the main page, is there a fix for this, has this ever come up before? thank you for your time and consideration.
