    Hi guys,

After tearing my hair out with other over bloated (and paid for) WP mapping plugins, so I’m really hoping WP Google Maps can do what I need as I really want to use it – whatever it costs!

However, here’s the big question. Is there any way to create layers in the plugin? I need to overlay some historical black and white aerial photography over Google Maps and draw polygons and lines on it. Other mapping plugins have features to upload vector images and geolocated images that can be dropped over Google Maps. Is there any way to do that with WP Google Maps, even if it means adjusting the image by eye and not using geo-referenced photos?

    Thanks

    James.

  • Hi @spitfiresearch

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Our plugin does indeed support polygons and lines out of the box.

Regarding your other points, please could we ask you to open a ticket through our support desk so that we can discuss this further?

www.ads-software.com’s forum policy forbids us from discussing the add-ons here so you’d need to reach out to us through there for answers on your other points.

    I hope that helps?

    Kind regards
    – Perry
