Layout after update

    Is it possible to preserve created layout for sidebar widget after updating the plugin? Everytime I update plugin I have to set the layout from the beginning.

    What do you mean with layout for sidebar widget? Where are you configuring this? Can you make a screenshot of the configuration before and after an update?

    Okay I think you mean that you can customize the text in the widget. This is now possible in v 1.6.0.

    I meant that after update the widget on frontend returns to default settings so I have to edit this file wp-monero-miner-using-coin-hive/widget/partials/wp-coin-hive-widget-display.php from the beginning to make it look like before update.

    Please do not edit any plugin files manually. They will be overwritten on every update.

    I can add a special template file or section where you can override the design of the widget.

    Can you send me a copy of your modified wp-coin-hive-widget-display.php to [email protected] so that I can see how you want to modify it?

    I’ve send you an email with part of the code. For me layout is pretty important, that is why I edited the display file.

    I have just published v 2.4.1 with template support. You can set your custom templates in Settings > Templates. Note that it is available only in ‘pro’ version for now.
