    Gantry 5.3.2

I have created a blog layout with sidebar.

I have the Blog page, Blog menu item and Blog page types assigned using assignments in the hydrogen theme manager.

The assignments work when viewing blog or single post however when I move to /blog/page/2 using wordpress builtin pagination the assignment is lost and sidebar disappears. I can’t seem to find any assignment scenario where the sidebar sticks with pagination

    Hi,

How did you assign the Blog page ? Assignments are based on WordPress conditional tags so I myself use the “Home Page” in the Page Context card as this is using the is_home() WP conditional tag. Can you please try it ?

    Thanks,
    Jakub

I see the confusion. We have a page named Blog with a permalink of blog. That page is the default “Post Page” under Settings > Reading. When navigating to /blog the layout assignment is correct, when navigating to /blog/page/2 (i.e. using WordPress default pagination) the layout assignment is lost.

Just what I wrote above – can you please try to unassign it from everything you have right now and assign only to “Home Page” ?

Marking this as resolved because of inactivity.
Please feel free to create a new topic if problem still exists.

    Thanks,
