• Dear WordPress Support Team,
I am experiencing an ongoing issue with my WordPress website. Here are the details:

    Problem Description:

    • Issue:
After a few hours on the site, certain pages on the front end display a “cramped layout.” This includes:
      • Images appearing larger than usual.
      • Structure and spacing being disrupted (e.g., sidebar content cramped, social icons aligned vertically).
      • This issue is only visible in the all browser. The webpage looks correct when I check it in the WordPress dashboard or Elementor editor.
    • Temporary Fix:
When I open the problematic webpage in Elementor, make no changes, and simply update the webpage, the issue resolves temporarily. However, after 12 to 24 hours, the problem reappears on other web pages one by one.

    Actions Taken:

    1. Reinstalled the latest version of WordPress (Dashboard → Updates → Reinstall).
    2. Deactivated plugins one by one and checked the styles after each deactivation.
    3. Cleared cache from the browser and hosting server.
    4. Verified that the issue persists across different browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge).
    5. Reinstalled the theme multiple times.

Unfortunately, none of these actions have provided a permanent resolution.

    Additional Information:

    • I am running the latest version of WordPress, theme, and plugins.
    • This issue occurs across all browsers.
    • Screenshots of the problematic pages in the browser (attached) vs. the Elementor dashboard are included for reference.

      Request:
Could you please assist me in diagnosing and resolving this issue? Is there any additional configuration or debugging step that I should follow?
Thank you for your time and support. I look forward to your guidance.

      Best regards

    Hi @shinde77,

I have reviewed your website and it appears to be fine from our end. You can also have a look at the attached screenshot. [Link to Screenshot]

Could you please try closing your browser, reopening it, and accessing the site by adding “/?no-cache” at the end of the URL, like this: example.com/?no-cache?

Please let me know if this makes any difference in the output.

    Kind regards,?

I recently updated this page, and it initially displays correctly in the browser. However, the issue reappears after 12 to 24 hours on different web pages across the website (https://pdrl.in/), one by one. I am frustrated as I have to update 10 to 12 web pages daily to temporarily fix the problem.
Not ably, the issue is visible in all browsers but does not appear when viewing the pages in the WordPress dashboard or Elementor editor. Please help resolve this recurring issue.

Hi, that sounds like a cache problem. If it does not occur in the backend.
I have seen that you are using 2 cache plugins. Wp Fasted Cache and Wp Optimize.
Maybe you should try it with only one cache or optimization plugin or deactivate both and see if the error still occurs.

After uninstalling the WP-Faster Cache plugin this morning, I noticed that one of my webpages on the website has collapsed and is not displaying correctly. The page in question is: https://pdrl.in/events/ses/

Could you please assist in identifying and resolving this issue?

Looking forward to your prompt response.

    Hello @shinde77 ,

I hope you cleared all cached data using the plugin before uninstalling the cache plugin.

As I checked, you have created the page using Elementor, but there seems to be an issue with the container width not reflecting correctly on your website. Please verify in the backend that you have set the container width for the page block, similar to the settings on another page.

    I have similar issues..

    Check Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Wordpress/comments/1hdappa/astra_theme_css_loading_issue/

    Could be the same?

    @jayeshchopda,
it’s not an Elementor container width issue, as the container width is set according to the webpage design. Our issue is why the layout collapses after a 10-12 hour gap, and this issue still hasn’t been resolved.

Hi, have you tried disabling WP Optimize as well? Simply switch off Minimize + Cache in the plugin settings but clear the cache first. Then see if the problem persists.
On my site the page looks completely normal.
    I don’t think it’s a problem with Astra.

    Hi @shinde77,

It indeed appears an issue with caching as suggested by other users as well. In case it still appears on your end, I would suggest accessing the site by adding “/?no-cache” at the end of the URL, like this: example.com/?no-cache. This will help get us rid of some caching. Also, please share a screenshot of how it appears after adding this to the URL.

Let us know how it goes for you!

    Kind regards,

    Hi,
On my site, all web pages look completely normal, and no issues occur repeatedly.
However, I want to add a plugin to clear the caching. What is the best plugin for this, and are there any other options for clearing cache files?

    @bsfaradhy

Let me chime in, since I have a very similar problem (as I mentioned earlier in this thread).

What will we achieve by changing the URL?

When this problem occurs, a simple refresh is enough to solve it. Which means that adding this to the URL after the problem occurred will not prove anything.

    Right?

Hi @shinde77, You can refer to our recommendations from this URL.

Hi @keano16, adding the parameter in the URL ensures we are viewing a live version of the page, free from any caching. This helps in determining if the issue is related to the cache or not. If the issue is getting resolved with just a refresh, it also states that something is blocking the CSS assets of the website intermittently, which might or might not be cached. Also, as per this forum guide, I would ask you to please start your own thread. You can cross-link it to this one, so we are aware of both.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,

hi @bsfaradhy , I used WP Fastest Cache and WP-Optimize, but the layout issue occurred again.
Could you please suggest the best cache clearing plugin for my WordPress website? When installed, it should not cause any layout or website-related issues.
