• Hi,

Im getting the following warnings in iCloud News Publisher dashboard for the post https://sportsnaut.com/aaron-rodgers-blasts-green-bay-packers-receivers/

The value for the property “layout” at line 1 and column 5552 is not valid: []
The value for the property “layout” at line 1 and column 5566 is not valid: []

I downloaded the .json for that article and i found the following at that char number

    …{“role”:”caption”,”text”:”Samantha Madar\/USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin \/ USA TODAY NETWORK”,”format”:”html”,”textStyle”:{“textAlignment”:”center”,”fontName”:”AvenirNext-Italic”,”fontSize”:16,”tracking”:0,”lineHeight”:24,”textColor”:”#4f4f4f”},”layout”:[]}],”layout”:[]}…

so it seems its the caption from the image and its complaining that layout is not a string? and instead it has []

Any advice on how to fix that warning? thanks in advance

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

That should be populated with ignoreDocumentMargin which should be set to true or false based on the value of the full bleed images setting. Can you try going to Apple News > Settings and saving the settings and trying again? I’m wondering if that setting isn’t set and it’s confusing the plugin when trying to add that property to the layout.

This could also be caused by customizing the JSON for the image component (specifically, the image with caption JSON) and setting the layout to an empty array, which it shouldn’t be.
