• Hello!!

In my Portfolio pages like below the thumb are loading soo slow. It’s a WordPress CMS 5.2.2, Genesis 3.0.3, plugin used for lightbox “Simple Lightbox”. Photos are 1920px (long side).

I already tried to downgrade the images quality but is a Portfolio, so the images has to be decent..

Anyone has an idea on the fly? Thank you so much.

WordPress doesn’t have lazy loading built-in.

What plugin are you using for that?

Hello James, I’m not using plugins for lazy loading. It seems that the website load the original images, not the thumb.

Ok, are you using any plugin for the gallery?

No, I mean I’ve created it with a Genesis Theme and updated images with 1600/1900px (long length). 500/600 KB each.

Example of the code about the gallery:
    <ul class="wp-block-gallery alignfull columns-4 is-cropped"><li class="blocks-gallery-item"><figure><a href="#"><img src="#" alt="" data-id="1356" data-link="#/" class="wp-image-1356"/></a></li></ul>

Ah ok, then how the gallery operates is controlled solely by your theme.

Since that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: https://my.studiopress.com

Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

    Oh ok, I’m sorry James!
Thank you so much for your time ??
