Lazy load… problem…
-
Helo! 2 years ago i had a problem with compatibility of jetpack and all lazy load plugins that i have tested on date. I have opened an issue for another reason about mosaic galleries and after finished i suggested an integration with the lazy load plugin developed by Bruno XU, because only that have worked without a “screen view bug” (here -> https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/mosaic-galleries-are-not-formatting-correctly/#post-6688025) …i fell happy with the intention of Jeremy (” took note of your idea though, and we’ll consider this for a future release.”), because i really like the jetpack, but it’s don’t occurred…
Today i received with enthusiasm an update notification that includes Lazy Load on jetPack, but it don’t (minimally) work as expected… I have these problems:
1) My website turn into too slow after activate the jetpack option Lazy load
2) Don’t have any “loading icons” displayed to indicate an image loading… only the blank page.
3) The problem that i called “screen view bug” occurs because that the most lazy loads implementations considers all screen as a reference by what are viewed on page and when scrollbar (or another anchored link) is used to navigate to bottom of page, all above images are loaded… this way lazy load looses the sense… load only things visualized on actual moment. The implementation of Bruno Xu resolves that! Its based on screen viewed, and that can be observed on that page: https://www.jangadafilmes.com.br/enin-2015/#dia13 …after clik on any anchor only the pictures on viewed portion of screen are loaded… scrolling the page up and you can see that none above are preloaded.
Please, again, consider take a look on implementation of Bruno Xu (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-lazyload/)… i really love jetpack, but, the “simple lazy load” still working so much better than the native jetpack lazy load option.
Thank you.
