Lazy Load problem in Jetpack; when will this theme be update?

I found out today the Lazy Load feature offered in Jetpack causes images on the home page to not load. I turned off the feature, and everything now is fine.

However, Jetpack informs me the Travelify theme hasn’t been updated in two years. Will this theme be updated and, if so, will it address the Lazy Load problem?
