• Hello, can you please tell me if it’s possible to lazy load comments? Maybe something similar to lazy render elements by flyingpress? I have some pages that have hundreds of comments, and they load very slow, and i was wondering how can I fix that? Thank you

  • Hey @victoriei101,

From what I know, WPFC does not have the ability to lazy load comments. However, this plugin should solve your issue.

Also, are you using WordPress’ native Comments feature? If not, what are you using? Our website uses wpDiscuz (plugin) and our comments load fast without “lazy loading” them. It also has a feature where all comments are hidden until the page visitor clicks on “View Comments” – which speeds up our affected comments pages dramatically.

If the above solved your issue, kindly consider closing this topic as “Resolved.”

    Cheers!

Note: I’m not affiliated with WPFC. Simply offering goodwill support.

I am also using WPdiscuz on another site and I know they have lazy loading, but in this case I am not. The plugin you recommended was the first thing I’ve tried, but unfortunately it’s causing some issues and I can’t use it

    Hi @victoriei101,

You didn’t answer my questions, so can’t help you much further.

In any case, you can always install wpDiscuz on your affected website(s) and all of your comments will be automatically imported. Problem solved. How ‘bout that! ??

    Details: https://wpdiscuz.com/community/troubleshooting/how-to-import-existing-comments/

I would perform the above on a staging site first.

It looks like your questions have been answered. If satisfied, feel free to close this topic as “Resolved.”

    Cheers!
