ldap new user registeration and management

Hi. I was looking for a module that is capable to doing the following.
. Add/Manage user profiles on an LDAP server
. Integrate login screen with LDAP.

Currently there are a few modules out there that can do LDAP authentication but none that will actually manage users on the LDAP server. For example, if the user already exists on the server, current modules will support the authentication with that server. However, none will add new users to the server if they register. Also, there is no provision for things such as changing passwords or even removing users.

One such module I did find was for Drupal. It can be found here. While I’m fairly good with linux, my PHP knowledge is non-existent. I was wondering if someone could look into this and maybe even easily port this over to work with wordpress.
