I need the ability to minimize a lead generation form popup to an icon (button or image).

For instance, when a user arrives at the site, the lower left corner says, “help?”, and when the user clicks on the help button, a lead form pops up, then when clicking exit or after submitting the form, it returns to the “help?” button.

    Is this possible?

  • Dear @username201701,

To achieve your goal, we would advise you to use a floating button.
You may enable the floating button from your popup’s settings, section floating button. See the screenshot here https://prnt.sc/2Onl0RaGtDnQ.
Make sure to set Event settings to on click. See the screenshot here https://prnt.sc/Q0z9B8A6wIKn.

In this case you will have the button with your desired text and once a user clicks on it the popup form will appear.

Great thanks! Is there a way the button can be hidden when the pop-up is open?

    Dear @username201701,

We are sorry to inform but there is no such an option to hide the floating button when the popup is open.

I was able to create two popups, one with the button trigger and one with an entry trigger. They are styled the same so it looks like the same form with both triggers. When a user visits the site they see the pop up, and the button. They can click out of the pop-up and when they click on the button the “same” form presents. It works great.

I now have a question regarding size. I am using the responsive design mode with very little padding, but it’s still a little too big. I see that I can change the dimensions, however, I am using a Contact Form 7 embed so the styling is all wrong when setting fixed dimensions. I can’t figure out how to make it look good. Suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Dear @username201701,

We are happy to hear that you figured it out.
As for the popup responsiveness, as you are using a contact form 7 embed code you should configure the form dimensions from your contact form 7 account.
We would kindly ask you to give it a try and let us know.
Also, please send us the URL where we can check the popup.
Meanwhile, could you, please, follow the article below and send the exported popup, so we can check its settings and try to troubleshoot the issue?
