Hi, my blog at https://critical.digital just auto upgraded to wordpress 4.4.1.

It seems that after that, my instance of the leadin plugin stopped working. The code is still in the page source on the front end of the site, and the leadin tab is still in the admin.

However, when I click on the admin leadin tab, or any of the sub tabs, the admin page sections for leadin are just blank, and do not render any of the reports or settings options.

Do you guys know of any conflicts that I might be running into here?

  • Hi Kyle,

Not 100% sure why you’d be seeing issues like this but we can definitely get to the bottom of it. Blank screens inside Leadin in WordPress usually suggest a conflict with another plugin rather than WordPress itself. From our testing we experienced no issues running Leadin inside WordPress v4.4.1.

Is it possible that other plugins also updated around the same time? If so this may be what’s causing it. If it works for you we should be able to get to the bottom of what’s causing this pretty quick if you can share a temporary login for your WordPress admin with me. We can run a few troubleshooting steps and establish where the failure is that is causing this inside Leadin and what to do to resolve it.

If that’s ok with you can you shoot me a mail to support @ leadin.com to follow up rather than posting that info here?

    Thanks,
    Shay

Hello, I am experiencing the same problem. I have never used this plugin before and I just installed it on my site (mylawbuddy.net). It prompts me to complete the setup but the screens are all blank.

EDIT: Also, I just deactivated all the plugins except for Leadin to see if any of them conflicted and I still got the blank screens.

    Hi nfee,

We made some updates recently which should help wipe out examples of blank screens inside WordPress due to conflicts with other plugins, so it’s likely that what you’re experiencing is not plugin conflict related but something else. If possible can you shoot me an email to support @ leadin.com so that we can investigate further? If you can share a temporary WordPress login with my at that address we should be able to get to the bottom of what’s causing this pretty quick.

    Thanks,
    Shay

    Hi, i’ve the same problem.
I’ve just installed the plugin on wordpress 4.4.2: installation was ok, but when I open any tab of leadIn plugin, i see a blank screens.

    any suggestions?
    thank you in advance
    marco

    Hi Marco,

If possible could you shoot us over an email to support @ leadin.com with your website address? We can do some digging on our side and see if we can confirm what is causing these issues you’re seeing.

    Thanks,
    Shay

I had the same problem with Chrome (Win 10). But I could see the intro-form with Firefox and was able to do the sign-in steps with Firefox.

Chrome now shows the dashboard, too.

Thanks for reaching out ewerkstatt, based on what you’ve described it sounds like this may have been caused by an ad-blocking extension on Chrome that was preventing the Leadin signup from loading. This may have caused an issue loading signup specifically, rather than the entire Leadin plugin, which would explain why you’re not seeing an issue now. If possible would you be able to confirm if you are using any ad-blocking (or similar) plugins inside Chrome?

    Thanks,
    Shay

No, I do not use ad blockers.

But I access back- and frontend with SSL, maybe that’s the reason for not seeing the content of the frame.

Thanks for confirming, we’ll do some digging on our side to see if SSL may have anything to do with it. If you do see any further issues definitely let me know, the best way to reach out would be through our site here: https://leadin.hubspot.com/knowledge

    Thanks!
