  • yes, I have the same problem with a leadpage link. Every link with a % in the url structur changed in an another link. And the generatet link is broken.

    Is this a bug?

I checked and it seems a problem indeed. For security reasons it filters things that are entered / sent to the plugin. It seems that the % causes a problem with that.

I’ll put it on the bug list. Is there no other way to make this leadpages URL’s? Maybe via an URL shorten function or so.

@koubav, we saw everything working correctly on your site. For anyone experiencing issues we’d love to help if we can. Feel free to contact us at support.leadpages.net or by reaching out to us from the Support tab in your account.

It should be noted that changing the URL of the LeadBox will likely have a negative effect on analytics.

Another quick fix is to enter the URL’s decodes, so in case of the first poster it would become: https://vojtechkouba.leadpages.net/leadbox/145a4d573f72a2:15cf65b6eb46dc/5689792285114368/

@maxfoundry we have reached out to you to see if we can provide any assistance in resolving this.

    Thanks so much!

    @bas Schuiling.
The link works if I replace “%3A” through “:”
But it has the disadvantage that the pop of Leadbox is not placed over the Website. The link will open in a new page.

It seems as required Lead Pages the original link with …%3A …

I hope there is an improvement of MaxButton. Previously it worked.

I’m not sure how that works, opening with something placed over the current page, but the way Max Buttons works is just adding a common link to pages, so it should work with replacing the %3A code with a colon ( : ) . Maybe the open in new page checkbox is checked?

    Hi Bas Schuiling

No, the checkbox “open in new windows” is deaktivated. Leadpage is correct working it use a Leadpage Plugin. And I think the Plugin needs the right link with the %3A.

But I can not understand, why MaxButton generate a new link. What is the reason?

    Check https://precomgroup.ch/

The first yellow Button is a Max Button with a modified Leadpage Link, also ( : )

and the blue Linktext (Memberbereich) under the yellow Button is a original Leadpage Link.

You can see, the second Link is working, the MaxButton link is not working.

It’s not a matter of the link, the leadpages link includes much more data than just a simple URL. This is something we will want to add in the future, but for now it’s not possible.

but for 1 month the same link was working with the same link. I didnt change something.

I can advice for the time being to get back to the previous version ( you an find it under ‘developers’ here I think ). I have no clue how it worked, since it should not work, even in the old version.
