League Table not sorting

Hi Roch, thanks for the follow up.

The formula is working fine, however the league table sorting only seems to work if there is an event for each category.

I was hoping to only enter the raw scores once for the overall event (ie all scores for each category) and then add league tables for each category. sorted by each category total. Ive managed to get it to work but only if I add an event foe each category?

If I run the league tables from just one event it only sorts all league tables by 1 descending.

Seems like double handling?

Please kindly clarify what you mean by one event for each category. It looks like your competition / sport is a bit different, so we need to fully understand it in order to help you.

Ok, so it is one big event that is comprised of 4 competitions on the day. Each competition(category) contributes to the event overall winner. So you can win a category but not overall. So when all the scores are entered on the main event the category results are only sorted by the overall winner, I was hoping to have each category league table winners sorted but it doesn’t?

Thanks for the clarification and I’m sorry for the delay. Your issue is a bit complicated so it took us some time to figure out the best way to do it.

I believe that in your case you could use player lists. You could create a player list for the best players based on a certain stat, in your case each of the competitions. Changing how the event displays that would require some custom code though. You’ll need to edit the template files to reorder your items if you want them to show diferently there.

So just to clarify you cant run just one event and hold more than one competition within it?

You can, but the league tables can only have one set of rules. So in the end that won’t really work for you (adding just one event for all competitions / categories).
