    Hi welshlamb!

We’d love to figure out what’s going on here, but we have unfortunately been unable to reproduce this.

On a test site, I just created a new course and new user, and had the user complete the course. With all Toolkit modules enabled (v1.1 of the Toolkit), I was able to see correct values in that column from Pro Panel (v1.5.4) with both LearnDash 2.1.8 and 2.2. I’m wondering if you could confirm which versions of the plugins you’re using and also which specific Toolkit modules you have enabled. Could you also try disabling the Toolkit and then reactivating it again? Also try disabling all Toolkit modules and see if that adds the column back. If anything works, it would be great if you could post here to let us know.

If you’d rather provide the details in an email, feel free to email us via our website. We could also take a quick look at the site.

    Thanks!

We did more digging and did find situations where course completion date might not be listed in CSV files. We applied a number of related fixes in v1.2 of the plugin. When you have a chance, are you able to update the plugin and let us know if that fixed your issue?

    Thanks!

    Hi welshlamb,

Version 1.2 should have fixed your issue, and since we haven’t heard anything further, I’m going to go ahead and mark this as resolved. If you have any further issues, please feel free to open another support thread or contact us directly.

    Thanks!

    Hi Uncanny Owl,

I had an email but somehow misplaced. Apologies for not responding quickly.
I have not updated the plugin yet as there are many live users. When I get a chance I will make the update and enable and let you know if the update has worked.

Thank you so much for getting onto this so quickly.

    Hi Uncanny Owl,

Thank you for looking into this.I re-enabled the plugin and found the problem is still existent.

    Im running LearnDash v 2.1.8.1

When a users completes a course that does not have a quiz assigned to it. When your plugin is enabled it does not record the date and time when exporting quiz data in pro panel.

Please could you look into this?

    Thanks

We’re happy to take a closer look, but I wanted to confirm your environment and test case first. You mentioned reenabling the plugin; can you confirm that you definitely updated and are running version 1.2.4? Can you update LearnDash too? It would be great if you could also confirm the module that’s causing it. Could you disable all modules in the Toolkit except Topics Autocomplete Lessons, then see if it’s still happening? If it is, can you also disable Topics AutoComplete Lessons and see if that fixes it?

I also wanted to check on the exact course setup you have for this. So this is a course with one or more lessons and no quiz at the course level? Which specific report is also having problems? (The original post mentioned exporting course data, the last post mentions quiz data.)

    Thanks!

    Hi Uncanny Owl,

Thanks for getting back to me!

I have updated the Toolkit plugin to latest version.
I am running Learndash v 2.1.8.1 (as currently latest version has a bug in quiz)

I have tried turning each module off then back on. The problem still persists.

The setup I have is just a course with a lesson no quiz. The plugin works fine with courses that include quizzes.

When the user completes the course with no quiz it does not log a date or time in the ‘Export cdv file in Pro Panel.

    Thanks

    Hi welshlamb,

We were able to replicate the issue and found a problem in the Toolkit. The good news is that it’s fixed in the latest version of the plugin, which we pushed today primarily to address this. The bad news is that in some cases completion dates won’t have been stored when the Topics Complete Lessons module was on.

That is certainly a big problem. We can’t restore completion dates because they weren’t stored (in some cases). The best we can unfortunately do is offer a script that assigns missing completion dates to today’s date. Here’s a link to a plugin that does just that: https://www.uncannyowl.com/uncanny-toolkit-course-completion-fix.zip.

If you want to use that plugin, take a backup first, then install and activate the plugin. On activation, it looks for completed courses with a missing completion date. If it finds any, it adds today’s date. You won’t get a confirmation message, but after activation you should try running a report to see if dates are populated for completed courses. As long as they are, deactivate and then delete the fix plugin above. If they’re not, please let us know.

    Hi UncannyOwl,

Thank you for working promptly on this. Once the site calms down I will try the update and plugin to fix the dates.

Thanks Again, will post back to let you know how I get on.

    Hi UncannyOwl,

Just tested the plugin and its working great… I have left the dates lost as blank for now.

    Thanks for the excellent support
