LearnDash privacy policy consent error

  • Hi,
    When using the built-in LearnDash login/register form on my site to register and I check the consent box, I receive the error “Not a valid-consent: privacy-policy” and the user is not able to register. If I “Disable Checkbox For Register Form” in the settings then it works fine. I do not have the same problem when using the WooCommerce account registration form which also has the consent checkbox (it is linked with LearnDash so they integrate). Wondering if anyone else has run into issues with LearnDash and GDOR plugins.

    It looks like LearnPress may not be compatible with our plugin. A few things you can check are, look in the GDPR settings area under the Consent tab and check to see if the privacy policy displays under default consent types. Next, also check the registration page (you may need to allow user registration in general settings) and see if the consent checkbox works there. Lastly, check on a blog post and see if the consent checkbox works with leaving a comment. Let me know what you find.

    @data443 Thank you for your reply. It seems it may be an issue with LearnDash as the consent seems to work elsewhere and all the settings are correct.
