• Hello,

We are using the most recent version of LearnPress and mostly everything seems to be working ok (*for the most part)… But, we are having an issue with the quizzes, which seems unreliable.

A little while ago I was able to navigate to a Course, then from within that course I clicked on the Quiz listed under the Course Curriculum section, and took the quiz. Then, I tried “Re-taking” the quiz and it just sits there for a moment when I click the “Retake Quiz” button, then I get a pop-up that says I successfully re-took the quiz… So basically it seemed like it was just re-submitting the quiz with the same answers I used the first attempt… Very strange.

Secondly, now when I go to the Course page and select the quiz under the Curriculum it opens it in a new tab like it’s supposed to. But, the URL is getting changed from what it shows if you just hover the mouse over the link.

URL when hovering over the Quiz’s Link:
    https://mywordpress/quizzes/my-first-lesson-quiz/

After clicking the Link, this URL shows in the new tab:
    https://mywordpress/quizzes/my-first-lesson-quiz/my-first-lesson-quiz/

I have no clue why it’s adding the quiz name twice in the URL… Firefox comes back with the error: “The page isn’t redirecting properly”

Could someone please give some help with this problem. It seems like everytime we get past one problem 2 more pop-up…

Also, I have not been able to find an updated page online for the best way to configure LearnPress or explanations of each setting in: Dashboard > Settings > LearnPress.
None that I have found cover all of the tabs found in the Settings > LearnPress page…

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

      Thanks in Advance,
      Matt

  • Hi Matt,

Curious how you resolved the Retake Quiz issue, as I have an identical problem?

    Hi Paul,

I’m not really sure we ever got a resolution to this. I was really just the person who setup the server, database(MySQL), webserver, PHP, etc… I asked my co-worker who was the one setting up the front-end of our WordPress server and she thinks we got around this by using an older version of the Learnpress Plugin…

It was so long ago now that she wasn’t positive. But, I believe the older version may have been what helped.

I seem to remember something strange helping with the situation and I think it was by having LearnPress 0.9.20 installed and Activated and “Learn Press by Thimpress Version” v1.0 installed but deactivated… I seem to remember when we uninstalled the v1.0 one, all other weird things began happening with LearnPress 0.9.20, so we reinstalled the v1.0 one but never activated it.

But, honestly I couldn’t really tell you what helped, if anything. Sorry… It may be a thing where you could email the developer directly and see if they can help you out.

If you do find an answer I’d be curious to find out what the issue was/is…

    -Matt
