• I am using Learnpress and really want to be able to give out a discount coupon for a particular course. To do this I need the Woocommerce extension. My question is – would this enable me to set the coupon just for the particular course I have in mind? Does Woocommerce recognise each individual course you have created in Learnpress? Also, do people recommend the Woocommerce payment method in Learnpress? Is it well integrated and smooth or is it clunky at all? And if you have a free course presumably it is clever enough to not direct someone to a payment page? Many thanks for any help ??

  • I have found that WooCommerce works very well with learn press. It is a mature software and is compatible with all sorts of plugins and add ONS. The coupon features allow you to choose multiple customer features such as which products or groups of products the coupon can be applied to, what additional sales can be used with this coupon etc. I do have one free coupon and use a plugin to force users to complete additional classes prior to purchasing the free plugin. The coupon system works very well.

Many thanks for the positive info – thats reassuring to know it works well. Can you confirm that woocommerce classifies each separate course as a ‘product’ so that I can have a coupon that is valid only for a particular course? Thanks.

Yes it does. Each class is a product. You can set coupons to apply to Individual classes or categories of classes etc.
