Leave Site? Changes you made may not be saved

I’ve been having an issue recently with the Leave Site button. This has been going on for a few months and when I did a bit of searching, it looks like it’s a bug others have had – but I don’t see a fix.
When I make a change in a page and then click Update – I get the note in the lower left corner that says the page has been updated. Then I click “View Page” and get the message “Leave Site? Changes you made may not be saved.” When I click leave, the changes have been made – so it’s just the error message that’s a bit of an annoyance.

In addition, when I come back into the page to edit again, it says “I have an autosave of “the backup of this post in your browser is different from the version below. Restore the backup”
