    Hi,

I am a newbie to WP and wanted to allow a customer to go to the website testimonial page and be able to type in a testimonial which then updates instantly so other customers can see it.

Is this done through the ‘comments’ feature in the quick view page setting? I only wanted this enabled on this particular page.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  • You can do this through comments, but then you would essentially be commenting on only one post. The better way to do this would be develop a post entry system on the front end of your site – when the user submits it, the database will be updated and the next visitor will see the new testimonial. This is a little complicated, but there are plently of materials out there explaining how to do it. If you do go down this route though, don’t forget that you will need to implement some kind of validation (probably a capcha) to stop the filthy spammers.
