Left-hand navigation disappeared site-wide

    I am very new to web-development, and wordpress in general, so this may not be the forum group to post this to, but its an emergency.

    I went on vacation on friday, and I started getting emails saying that the left-hand navigation of different parts of my site–www.brynathyn.edu–was gone.

    Sure enough, the left-hand navigation is gone site-wide.

    Please help!

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I was able to identify the problematic plug-in. I’ll see what to do about the original reason for the plugin, but thank you for your successful advice!
