Left image scaling instead of switching

Hi there,

I tried the plugin, also because I consider the Pro version. Yet, I have some issues getting it to run.
I used the shortcode in the scheme
[image-comparator left="https://.../left.jpg" right="https://.../right.jpg"][/image-comparator]
as in the description. Of course I installed and activated Vafpress ??

Now the right image is fine, yet the left image only scales instead of “swiping”. I read somewhere that this may be because of the used theme. I’m using Salient: https://themeforest.net/item/salient-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4363266

Do you have any idea which could force this scaling-behaviour?
