    Hello, Gido,
I use the LeftSide theme. After upgrading to PHP 7.4 the creation of new pages or posts does not work on my current WordPress installation. The error message is: “Internal Server Error – The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.”
All other tasks such as editing pages work fine. The installed plugins are PHP 7.4 compatible.

My questions: Is LeftSide PHP 7.4 compatible? Can you help?

    Friendly greetings

    Hi,

Currently I don’t have PHP 7.4 running on my installs.
I advice you to switch back to the default Twenty Twenty (or Twenty Nineteen) theme for a moment to check if this is caused by my theme or not.

Please let me know what’s the result of this test.

    Hi Guido,

I just tested it, at Twenty Twenty I also get the error message.

Then I will have to search further. Thanks for the help.

    Many greetings

    Hi,

That error can be caused by many things. Please check this page for more info. So if you can downgrade to PHP 7.3 please do this. Maybe your hosting provider can give you additional info so you will be able to fix this.

    Hello, Guido,
thank you for your quick feedback. In the meantime I was able to solve the problem.
At the same time I can now confirm that the ‘LeftSide’ theme is compatible with PHP 7.4.
