    Hello,

Every time I uncheck the box for Enable the legacy checkout experience and then hit save, it saves and says, “You have enabled the new checkout experience” but the Enable the legacy checkout experience box is back to being checked.

    Also,

When re-authenticating the Stripe connection via this message in Payments:

    “Make your store more secure

Re-connect your Stripe account using the new authentication flow by clicking the “Re-authenticate” button and make your store safer.”

I re-authenticate, but nothing happens, message still shows. Doesn’t say that I re-authenticated even though I went through the process.

    Hi there,

The issues you’re describing—the “Enable the legacy checkout experience” setting not saving and Stripe re-authentication not working—seem to be related to the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway, rather than WooCommerce core.

I recommend reaching out directly to WooCommerce Stripe support, as they would be best equipped to assist with this specific plugin behavior.

In the meantime, you can follow these troubleshooting steps:

    • Ensure you’re using the latest version of WooCommerce and the Stripe Gateway plugin.
    • Check for plugin conflicts by temporarily disabling all plugins except WooCommerce and Stripe, then switching to a default theme like Storefront.
    • Look for errors in WooCommerce > Status > Logs (check for recent logs related to Stripe).
    • Try clearing your browser cache and testing again.

    Hello,

The issue fixed it self. For some reason there was a 1 minute delay after saving the changes.

    Hi there,

Glad to hear the issue resolved itself! The slight delay after saving changes could have been due to caching or a minor background process. If you notice this happening frequently, clearing your site cache.

If you have a moment, we’d really appreciate it if you could leave a review about your experience. Your feedback helps us improve and assist others better! You can leave a review here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/
