Dgold, thanks for the thorough critique! It means a lot to me. ??
As for the password protection login…that actually isn’t the login for users. I just added a password for that entry. Guests can’t login to that section with their usual password; they’d have to get the correct one from me. The subject of that entry was a bit personal, and while I still wanted it online for reference and such (and to keep it out of my way in my admin panels), I didn’t want everyone getting to it.
That would be nice, if out of default, a certain level of users’ passwords worked there, while non-users and lower level users’ passwords wouldn’t work. I remember there was a plugin for assigning certain posts and categories to user levels (very handy plugin, indeed!), but the last time I used it was during WordPress 1.2; I don’t know if there’s a 1.5 version, and I can’t say I’ve looked. But it did exist at one time! If the feature you spoke of is of some interest to you, you might give a look around for it. ??
As for the motion blur on the text, I’m keeping it, mainly because I like it and I’m a stubborn ass. ?? I did it the way I wanted it. There were other techniques I tried, some probably more preferable to others’ tastes, I suppose, but I went with what I liked, for whatever reason. ??
Thank you again for the thorough reply!
