I tested out Tutor LMS first and made a simple lesson template. That automatically activated and affected my lessons.

However, Lifter LMS does not use this template. I have looked for hours for a way to activate it but can’t see it. I have then made a new template just to see if that would fix it, but no.

How do I fix this? I simply want a template to have my lessons look good and be consistent in their look.

It seems like I can make this work when creating new lesson AFTER adding a second template, so a few questions:

Can I have more than one template and switch between which one is active?
Can I apply a template to existing lessons? Or do they need to be created after a template is made?

Is there any particular reason why the template I had before starting with Lifter LMS did not affect my lessons but this new one (made in exactly the same way) affects new lessons?

I’m starting to think I can’t see any of the templates I have made myself under attributes for the lessons. When I see “theme” in there, I think it’s a default from Ocean WP theme.

I can’t believe it’s taken hours for me to set this up, should be so so simple.

    In this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zRNHU9k9Iw
he makes a new template and chooses “lesson” as the type. However, I can only choose between “page” and “section”. Has there been a big change since this video?

    Hi @superdep,

In that video Will us using Lifter Elements to create this compatibility.

Unfortunately, Elementor by default does not allow templates to be added to Lessons as a post type.

We are not sure why they have this restriction, but you may want to reach out to them about getting this changed for your site. Or, the LifterLMS Elements will work around this issue as well.

Let us know if you have any further questions!

    Thanks and take care,
