Let user “sort posts by” in frontend

There are several plugins, but the trick is whether you want to sort different lists differently, and whether you want to sort just the visible posts (vs. all posts, meaning it’s a new request).

The plugins i found all only work in the backend. I need a soultion for frontend.

I really don’t know why nobody could give me an answer to this simple question, because its quite simple. Just create a dropdown via html and create links with href:

<a href="/?orderby=price">Order by price</a>
<a href="/?orderby=title">Order by Title</a>

and so on.

You can use any custom “name” of meta box tag you have used!
