Let User Uploads their OWN AVATAR/PICTURE

  • Hello,

    Anyone knows how to let users Upload their on Image/Avatar other then load it from other sites like gravatars.com ?

    Something simple like a plugin that will add an option to upload the picture and host it into a directory?

  • really. this seems like it would be a very simple and standard feature. wordpress by far the best blog / CMS software i’ve used. but no cute user pics! what gives? waaaah ??

    There’s several avatar plugins if you want to use one of them instead: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/

    But WordPress is not forum software, and so it doesn’t have a way to use local avatars because of that. The Gravatar system is how WP decided to go with it.

    i think that it is too wrong for the wp users how a free system :/
