Let users upload videos, picture gallery, have their own blogs?

  • Interested in knowing how I can have it so that users can upload their own videos, have their own picture gallery and have their own blog?

    Hi Kafkaesqui thank you that solves the blog part but what about the ability to have users upload their own videos?, photos, or say vote on things?

    You need to hire cheap IT programmers in India to have your own PHP script written. I’m not joking.

    India aside…

    eddyj, a person setting up a blog through a tool like WordPressMU should automatically have the ability to upload stuff. Assuming you’ve provided them with the disk space. :)

    On a group blog (a blog with multiple authors), only those with a role of Author or above can upload files. See the Roles and Capabilities doc for more on that.

    Voting on “things” is a bit vague, but would have to be covered by a plugin since there’s no built-in voting functionality in WordPress (MU or not).
