    Hey Team,
I have 4 lists and have successfully added all 4 lists in my form.
When a subscriber picks up one option from the lists and subscribes, then confirmation mail is sent but the newsletter which I have created for that list isn’t getting sent.Suppose He chooses list “A” then he must get a newsletter of category “A” as soon as there is new content in category “A”.But,this isn’t happening.I have made an automatic newsletter for “A” and it is automatically set as to sent immediately whenever there is new content.
    Please help me with this.

  • Hello rohit016,

Your automatic newsletters aren’t being sent at all, correct?

If you send yourself previews of newsletters, do you get them?

Feel free to get in touch here with your issue and the answers to our questions above:

    Hi appreciating your response.
According to the settings I made to “immediately send after the new content is added”.Its not going immediately instead I get some pause or don’t wait option to send it.
    How do I prevent this?
and Yes the previews are getting sent immediately.

    Rohit,

“Send immediately” means that it will send as quickly as it can.

You simply have to wait for MailPoet to process them (don’t click on pause or “don’t wait”).

Now, the sending depends mostly on how many visitors to your site you get. Why? Because the trigger to send email depends on a task scheduler that your visitors unwittingly trigger when they (or yourself) visit your site.

Yes, this is unreliable! We agree.

We’ve made a Premium feature to ensure that emails are delivered at least every 15 minutes. We’re currently working on a free version of this service for all our users. No date of launch yet.

Alright team thanks for the update.
Now for the time being I’ll change the settings to send the mail as soon as someone subscribes the lists and get the newsletter of the lists he has subscribed.
Suppose I have added 10 new posts in particular list “A” then I hope with the above setting my subscriber will get my 10 latest posts as soon as he subscribes to that list “A”?

That’s how it should work. Try it, and let us know. ??

Yes I tried this but this time the mail is not sent to the people which are already subscribed to that list though the new posts were added in that list.
Now this is the issue for me.
I think i need to again revert my settings to “Automatically sent…
” whenever there is new content but this time not immediately but once a day at particular time.
Then I believe even though when there are new subscribers they will get the mail if they fits in that particular time range else they will receive the mail in the next time cycle. And no doubt the one’s which are already subscribed will anyhow receive the mail at that time with new posts.
please correct me if I am going wrong way.

    hey!

There are 2 types of emails mentioned in this conversation:

    1. Send a “welcome email” X time after someone subscribes.

This email is only sent once when a visitor subscribes.

    2. Send automatically once a day, or immediately, or once a month, when there’s new content.

If any of these don’t work, do reach out to us here for faster support: https://support.mailpoet.com/feedback/

We’ll be happy to help you get sorted. ??

    Yes,
    1) I am not using this setting since when a new user subscribes to newsletter only then he gets the mail,But what about future mail.He don’t get mails if any new posts are added.Hence,I am not using this setting.
2)I am using this setting, once a day at particular time, when there’s new content. The issue I am facing here is if a subscriber is subscribed to more than one list then he receives mail late.I mean He receives the mail of list “A” first and of list “B” one hour later by list “A” is sent and so on.What I assume even if he’s subscribed to more than one list He should receive mail of all lists He’s subscribed at one time not by time lag of one hour or something.
This is the only issue I am facing now.

Okay on item 2 you are using a post notification newsletter just to be clear on the terms.

On this post notification, did you choose to send to list A and B ?!

Yes I am using post notification newsletter.
Yes all my lists have same settings.
