• Every time I type a word with “FT” in it, when I update and then view the page, the “FT” becomes a pencil or marker figure – as in the word “after” and “Fifteenth”. It has been doing this for years. It is time to correct this, please.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • This sounds like it may be related to how your plugin is picking up “ft” as a short code to create the icons. You may be able to get better support by posting your question in the support forum specific to the plugin you are using to format your website if that is the case.

If you type “after.” instead of “after” does it still change to a pencil?

Check out the following post below from a few years ago that referenced a similar issue.

Thanks for this Ryan. I have Classic Editor and Options Options Framework plugin(s) that I guess came with the system, since I don’t know what they are. Why a plugin would provide a feature like “FT” in the middle of a word to identify an icon escapes me.
