• I am using level 0 free membership only to offer free training courses.
I am concerned that over time the database will get bloated with idle users who registered but did not return and this will slow down the site.
Is there an EOT function in s2member that will remove level 0 users if they have not logged in after a period of time.

  • I am not aware of an EOT function in s2member that works like that out of the box, though you could probably script it if it’s really important to you.

But a database with lots of non-active users should have zero impact on the speed of the site. That’s not how the database works. It is designed to cope with thousands of users. If they aren’t active, their entries in the database just won’t be called.

If you are really concerned, you could just cull your list of users manually (say) every month, based on the date of their last login. But, as I say, it shouldn’t be necessary.
