I am working on optimizing a site hosted at SiteGround and running the SG Optimizer, version 5.8.3. Leverage browser caching is said to be always on in the latest versions of the plugin, but none of the performance reports I’m running detect that. Both PageSpeed and GTmetrix both report tons of files that need to leverage browser caching. So, if this plugin is failing to do it, what’s the work around or the fix??

    Thank you for your update!

The NGINX DIRECT DELIVERY is disabled for the website. This is why you see those results.

You can enable it from vsotoskin.com website SiteTools -> Speed -> NGINX DIRECT DELIVERY section and test the case again.

    Best Regards,
    Elena

That did the trick. Normally that setting is just always on. I guess it got turned off at some point. Thanks!

Great, glad it worked! It would be great if you can drop a rating of the plugin, that really helps us a lot ??
