    Hi,

I am getting an “F” (the worst score on Leverage Browser Caching) on GoDaady’s performance check after installing the plugin.

    Any ideas why?

Did you try checking performance scores under GTMetrix?

It looks like GoDaddy is using GTMetrix in the background as the results seem to be the same..

Shared the website address through your website’s contact form..

    Thank you

Thanks for sharing your site URL. Could you paste the contents of your .htaccess file located under your WordPress root?

    Hi Dipak,

    Shared..

Please note the website root redirects users in accordance with their browser language to subfolders /en/ and /tr/

    Thanks

It appears your .htaccess file isn’t writable as I don’t see any rules added by this plugin.

Change the permissions of .htaccess file to make it writable, then deactivate the plugin and reactivate. Now recheck the contents of .htaccess and make sure you can see the rules added by this plugin in .htaccess.

Check the performance scores again and ‘Leverage Browser Caching’ should be improved.

OK will try that thanks but how come other plugins can write to .htaccess file and this one can not? (not trying to blame just trying to understand).. I installed wordfence the other day and it wrote on to .htaccess file fine..
