Licence supposedly active but not working

    I have inherited the administration of a website from another developer. The website uses Product Bundles and Product Slider Carousel YITH plugins, which are marked as active, but whose update fails. Also, it says that the licence expires on December 12, 2029, 11:10 am, which shouldn’t be possible since as far as I know the licences are for 1 year.
    Does this mean that we don’t actually have a working licence and should deactivate these ones and buy new ones, or could the previous developer’s licences still be active but something be going wrong?
