License keys generated but not delivered

I have set up a variable product in Woocommerce with license keys being created by a generator. 

The license keys are being correctly generated in Woocommerce > Orders. However, they are not being sent to the customer at any stage of the ordering process. Even when I click ‘Resend license keys’, it is still not sending the license keys with the email. The email body includes the heading ‘Your digital license(s)’, but there is no license key beneath the heading or attached.

In my plugin settings, I have selected ‘Enable this option to deliver license keys once a specific product is purchased’. And I have checked the first four boxes under ‘Order status delivery’.

I checked the documentation, but it did not give me any advice to fix this problem. Is there something else I need to do in order to get licenses to be delivered to customers?
