• Hi,

I’m exploring Lifter LMS on WordPress to host our online course. I want to make sure this platform is accessible for everyone and that it works with screen readers. Does anyone have experience with that platform and if it’s screen reader accessible?

    Thanks!

  • I’m not really sure. I’d suggest downloading and installing it on a dev/test environment and test it out. Also try reaching out to the plugin developers – they might be able to explain any accessibility affordances they’ve built into their plugin. What level of accessibility are you looking for? Accessibility is a lot more than just making sure screen readers can “see” everything. Colors, sound, motion and even just the language used in text content, has accessibility implications. Please don’t let that scare you off though! It’s good to be aware of accessibility and to design for it.

I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/lifterlms#new-post so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
