Lightbox closer after clicking 2 times

    Hello,

    I’m having an issue with the lightbox feature.

    The lightbox opens normally, but to close the image, I have to click 2 times.
    pressing “escape” does it 1 time.
    but clicking outside the image must be clicked twice for the lightbox to close. :’x

    from what I found online, that means I have more than 1 plugin with lightbox feature… which is definitely true.
    I have Essential Addon for Elementor & Unlimited Elements.
    it’s visible that after clicking the 1st time, another lightbox instance appears, I can tell cuz it has different controls.

    I’m using the free version of each and I use both cuz each have something I need to use while the other doesn’t.

    so what can I do in this situation?
    I tried deactivating 1 of the plugins, but did not work.

    I hope you are doing well. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

    Actually, I have also tried to reproduce the issue by installing the EA and Unlimited Elements on my site, but I didn’t face any issues.

    It seems like the other popup is coming from the “testimonials carousel for elementor” plugin. Would you kindly confirm whether you are using this plugin and whether turning it off for a while fixes the problem?

    After deactivating the plugin, make sure to clear your cache, and to clear the page cache, press cmd/ctrl + Shift + R all together and check.

    Hello and thank you for the reply,

    I actually don’t have the “testimonials carousel for elementor” plugin.
    I even checked if I have a testimonial carousel feature in the 2 plugins, EA and Unlimited. I don’t have it since it’s a pro feature in Unlimited.

    but I did as you said and closed both plugins and tested.
    somehow, it worked.
    then tried activating one plugin at a time and test until both are activated.

    by some magic, now it works normally.
    even though I tried this solution last week. x’D
    it got scared of the devs I see. xD

    all is good now. tried it on different platforms and devices.
    works like a charm.
