I updated my plugins and now this plugin is the only one not working afterwards. I have images placed in a page acting as thumbnails with them linked to YouTube videos. If I click on the images, nothing happens. They have popped up in lightboxes just fine for the last 4+ years with this plugin. I checked the Console and got this error:

    jquery.fancybox.min.js?ver=6.4.4:1 Uncaught ReferenceError: DOMPurify is not defined at _start (jquery.fancybox.min.js?ver=6.4.4:1:1244) at HTMLAnchorElement.<anonymous> (jquery.fancybox.min.js?ver=6.4.4:1:12505) at HTMLAnchorElement.dispatch (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:40035) at v.handle (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:38006)[email protected]?ver=6.4.4:1(anonymous)@jquery.fancybox.min.js?ver=6.4.4:[email protected]?ver=3.7.1:[email protected]?ver=3.7.1:2

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, we did add the dompurify script to the plugin in a recent update. It is required as dependency for fancybox now – we load it before fancybox – so it should *always* be loading.

Apparently it is not for you. I’ll take a look today to confirm we’re loading it in all cases, especially around youtube videos.

Can I ask what lightbox you are using (ie, which version of fancybox)? That may have an impact.

Hi – I’m wondering if you can please try going to your dashboard > Lightbox to get to the plugin settings page. In the first accordion panel at the top for ‘Enable’, can you expand that and check if Enable for Youtube is turned on? If not, please try selecting that and check if the issue is resolved for you?

The issue may be a combination of a small logical change in how that settings works, combined with the addition of the new script as a dependency.

Just wanted to follow up and see if you had a chance to try the change above?

Hi. So sorry for the delay. I was away for about a week. However, I did check and the settings were set for YouTube. I didn’t change anything and then opened up the site in a new incognito browser and it is now working for some reason. Again, I didn’t change anything. Thanks for your help. Looks like it’s working again.

Hmm. I wonder if it was some kind of caching. In any case, I’m glad it is resolved!

I’m going to mark this thread resolved now.
